NBA 2K21 is coming to Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, Microsoft Windows, Google Stadia, Android, and iOS. It's also coming to Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 this year.

Soundtrack Reveal

Right now, fans can listen to 49 of those tracks on a Spotify playlist 2K created, with the soundtrack headlined by the likes of Roddy Ricch, Rick Ross, Lil Baby, Pop Smoke, Juice WRLD and many more.

The next-gen version of NBA 2K21 will add additional songs and will feature 202 tracks at launch. After launch, the next-gen soundtrack will then be updated with new songs spanning across hip-hop, R&B, electronic, pop, and rock.

Cryptic Teaser Box Sent Out

One lucky NBA 2K21 fan received a box that was full of redacted information.


In the video, you can clearly see that the next-gen version is written as being different from the current-gen. What then follows is a host of buzzwords like aerodynamic, feel-the-energy, etc.

PS5

PS5 will be a huge graphical leap for gaming. This includes an eight-core AMD CPU based on the 7nm Zen 2 and a GPU based on the Radeon Navi series.

Xbox Series X

The Xbox Series X highlights include DDR6 RAM that will massively improve resolution and framerates and support for ray tracing through DirectX 12 Ultimate.

The Xbox Series X is also looking to nearly eliminate loading screen time by optimizing the process. This will cut loading screens to a fraction of their current state, which is great news for NBA 2K21.
