NBA 2K21 MyTEAM Wishlist

MyTEAM is a fantastic Mode, it has been largely successful in 2K20 but here is how it can get even better in the upcoming title. Here is our NBA 2K21 MyTEAM wishlist!

Add tutorials for beginners

The amount of customization and different things the player has to control are intimidating for a brand new MyTeam player.

Transfer Data

Now, this isn't a 'wish' per se, but one good piece of news that has already been confirmed by 2K is that you will be able to carry over your MyTEAM data from your current console to your Next-Gen console should you wish. But you'll have to buy the game again on the new console unless you buy the 'Mamba Forever' edition on PS4 / Xbox One – which will set you back near £100.

Auction House Search Improvements

When you're opening packs and you get a duplicate card, you have the option of sending it to the Auction House to sell for MyTeam points. Smart MyTeam players will check the going rate so they know what price to place on the card. Unfortunately, this process is way too cumbersome.  It would be so much easier if you could conduct this search from the Auction Block rather than needing to head to an entirely different tab.

In addition, the search results in the Auction aren't always dependable. You have to implement weird workarounds to get the information you're searching for. It would be great to see that improved.

Virtual Currency

One thing we would have on our 2K21 MyTEAM wishlist is the removal of VC. As we said, it won't happen, but the removal of VC would make the game so much fairer in all aspects. It would stop people from 'buying' their way to the top of the game and place far more emphasis on the 'play-to-win' aspect of the game rather than the 'pay-to-win'.

Upgraded MyTeam Evolution (EVO)

In MyTeam, the EVO cards refer to special cards for players that are dynamic. They upgrade to better ratings based on completing in-game specifics such as scoring 50 points across games.

While this is nice, oftentimes MyTeam stops the card development at a certain level. Gamers end up frustrated at the time they put in. Nobody wants to put in the effort to upgrade an EVO card when a better card is going to drop in the future. Perhaps in NBA 2K21, they could continue the upgrades over the life of the card to the highest possible level.

Triple Threat

Triple Threat

This is a game mode that we really like, but one that could still be made even better! The fact that you get a reward after every game, win or lose, is great. However, in our opinion, there need to be more rewards for those who are successful.

We're not suggesting you should get a Galaxy Opal for winning twelve in a row on Triple Threat, but the rewards could be a little better than a drop the ball that is likely going to end up with 10 tokens!

Salary Cap Mode

2K tried this angle with its SuperMax mode a few years back, and their approach was flawed. To put it plainly, they made it way too complicated. Each gem category should carry a salary, similar to the way DraftKings contests work. Each user has to fill every slot with no duplicate players, and no one playing out of position. If this existed, it would be my favorite mode, and it would accomplish a few very important things.

Locker Codes

Locker Codes are a big reason that many people choose to invest their time into MyTEAM and, with the chance to unlock Pink Diamonds/Galaxy Opals frequently, it means the players who don't choose to buy VC can still use the best cards. Now, this is something that we wouldn't change at all. But instead is something that we just want to see continue in 2K21!

Draft Mode

Draft Mode

I hope Draft mode similar to 2K17 Pack & Playoffs with rewards similar to MTU and short quarters. It could be based on building a Big Three with supporting players around those stars. Three rounds in the draft would give players access to the top cards available in the mode while the rest of the rounds would spread out amongst the other gem levels.

Allow Gifting of Cards

I know there can be some issues with this, but it's time 2K allow players to gift cards. It should only be 3-5 per month, but if I own the card–even digitally–I should be able to do whatever I want with it. This would provide online content creators a way to run giveaways, and there's obviously the option to play a friend in a head-to-head game for a card from your collection.

Matchmaking System Improvements

The current matchmaking system can easily be exploited to give the player a favorable matchup against someone who does not have a very good team (ex. player using all-Bronze bench). One suggestion is implementing a system where the game matches players based only on the 5 best cards on the roster with some ranked matchmaking aspects.

Others

1. Add TTO to the Play with Friends menu.
2. Add MyCareer Ante-Up style wagering to MyTeam.
3. Allow players to get all win count's rewards (12-0 would get rewards for 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1 wins).
4. Allow players to unlock different looks for players (ex. headbands or hair).
5. Weekly Challenges that have varying difficulties (and rewards to reflect that).
6. Unranked, no-contract mode to play against others online. Some players just want to play no-stress games with their fantasy team and the only way to do this currently is Play With Friends against someone you know.

Hopefully, we'll see some of those changes in the upcoming NBA 2K21. Also, open the link https://www.u4gm.com/nba-2k21-mt to view more NBA 2K21 news, guides, and buy 2k21 mt, cheap, safe, fast, and most importantly, our team awards fast delivery of your 2K21 MT through the Auction House.
