NBA 2K20 Ratings Update #6: Zion Williamson was the Big Winner Again
As the NBA season progresses, NBA 2k20 players' ratings have been updated again. Some players' ratings have risen and some have fallen. These ratings have changed based on the performance of the players on the field. Among them, Zion Williamson was once again the big winner.
Here are some of the adjustments as of the NBA 2K20 ratings update #6 (March 5, 2020).

Zion Williamson
The latest ratings update (#6) for NBA 2K20 was released and Zion Williamson is, once again, the big winner. He gained an additional two overall points, bringing his NBA 2K20 rating up to 86.
There were doubters ahead of this season who felt he might be a bust, but so far, the Pelicans rookie has been anything since. Through nine games in his rookie season, he's averaging respectable numbers including 21 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game.
After sitting out a game against the Pacers, Zion returned several days ago and scored a new career-high of 31 points. In addition, he had nine boards five assists to help his team defeat Portland. Keep in mind he's just 19 and has plenty more to show during his career.
Now 17 games into his professional career, Zion Williamson is starting to look like the real deal. Since making his much-anticipated debut in January, the 19-year-old rookie phenom has absolutely dominated in his limited time with the New Orleans Pelicans. And his performance on the court in real life is starting to be reflected in NBA 2K20.
He is now among the top 40-rated players in the game. Among Power Forwards (his listed position in the game), he's tied with John Collins (Atlanta Hawks) and Kirstaps Porzingis (Dallas Mavericks) — both of whom also gained 1 overall point with this update — for third best-rated in the game. The trio of young studs are behind only Anthony Davis (96 OVR, Los Angeles Lakers) and Pascal Siakam (89 OVR Toronto Raptors). That's not bad company to be with for the 19-year-old rookie.
The 86 overall rating is well-deserved too. In just 17 games played this season, Williamson is averaging 24 points with 6.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game. Currently, he has scored at least 20 points in 13 consecutive games.
Joel Embiid
Joel Embiid is NBA All-Stars, he also gained an overall point, bringing him back up to a 91 rating, but have had some shaky performances.
He had dropped to 90 OVR in the previous roster update. Embiid, and the 76ers as a whole, have had a roller-coaster season but it seems he's finally on track. Embiid is a force to be reckoned with.
At 91 overall, Joel Embiid is now the 10th best-rated player in NBA 2K20, tied with Nikola Jokic (Denver Nuggets) and Kyrie Irving (Brooklyn Nets). He and Jokic are the two best-rated centers in the game, though Embiid has a slight advantage with dunking (80 versus 70).
Embiid was mentioned in "trade rumors," but for next season. The speculation from an ESPN NBA insider was that teams are already preparing for the possibility of the Sixers putting Embiid up for trade.
Jayson Tatum
Boston Celtics Power Forward Jayson Tatum, who has been scorching hot in the new year, has his overall increased two points and is now rated 88 in the game. Tatum is clearly capable of being one of the stars of the NBA, as his performance against the Pelicans (and so many more) showed. He recorded a new career-high with 41 points in a win against. He also had six rebounds, four assists, and three steals in a solid game for the potential All-Star reserve. The 22-year-old is averaging 23.6 points (#16) per game this season, but a whopping 31.3 points per game over the past 10 contests.
