NBA 2K23: All Improvements In MyTeam

NBA 2K23 features a variety of brand-new experiences to the ever-popular MyTeam, such as new game modes, gameplay features, and rewards. Here, we've laid out all of the big improvements to NBA 2K23's MyTeam.

1. Weekly Era Challenges

The weekly challenge gives players another wrinkle to look forward to in all-time fantasy matchups. In MyTeam, players can put Bird and Johnson on the same team. One every week is something to anticipate for the whole year.

2. Co-Op Modes

Next, the NBA 2K23 also features a Triple Threat Online Co-Op which is a first for the franchise. Essentially, it is a game mode that will allow you to compete against and with your friends.

3. More Single-Player Modes

Playing offline is one thing that works well. But single-player online modes are a thing now too. Clutch Time is a single-player arcade mode with a four-point line that the developers have made an official launch feature of the new NBA 2K23.

4. Contracts Are Gone

Another big change to NBA 2K23's MyTeam mode is the removal of contracts. Now, your permanent player cards can be used in My Team without you having to fill out their contracts.

5. Prestige Tiers

New Prestige Tiers allow players that reach the top tier to start over and unlock more rewards. Players will earn Season Points with every win or loss to help them advance to the next tier. There are also leaderboards that will show where you stand amongst the MyTeam community. As well as a special icon for all those who crack the Top 10.

6. Six-Week Seasons

By shortening the seasons up to six weeks in NBA 2K23, there will now be more rewards, tournaments, winners, and opportunities to get big rewards.

7. More Rewards

In NBA 2K23, players get serious rewards after just a few games worth of work. An hour or two of gaming will wield loads of new cards, customizable items, tokens, and NBA 2K23 MT coins.

8. Game-By-Game Progression

Now, players get to see their ranking adjust as soon as the game is done. Climbing the ranks is no longer an ethereal concept, it's practical and measurable.

9. Leaderboards

The leaderboard returns to MyTeam with new icons to show your place in the Top 10 or have completed any special achievements such as 'Prestige Tier.' Each Season will reset the leaderboard and progression, giving everyone equal ground to climb to the top.

10. Offline Availability

MyTeam offline offers plenty of fixed rewards and challenges are part of the massive file size that players download. There is an entire single-player challenge tab to check out and enjoy. These don't practice modes, which are games that matter and have rewards.

11. Exhibitions

In NBA 2K23, players can send cards outside their 13-player lineup and receive a special reward. The exhibitions provide an excellent passive method to earn game-changing rewards.

12. Trophy Case Awards

Another fantastic way to get special rewards in NBA 2K23's MyTeam is with the new Trophy Case awards. There will be 15 event cards for each NBA franchise that show key moments in the team's history. Players can then earn a trophy by obtaining the trophy attached to each card. Completing the Trophy Case will also unlock a Pink Diamond player for each team.

13. Player-Lock in Any MyTeam Mode

In NBA 2K23, users can now choose to player-lock anybody in their lineup in any game mode. This feature, in particular, could become incredibly useful when you're trying to enhance a specific stat for a certain player.
