4. MyCareer – The City and Cruise return

The City (new-gen) and The Cruise Ship (last-gen) are returning for NBA 2K23, providing a brand-new city to explore with new arenas and courts. You can also choose a crew and compete against MyPlayers for supremacy. Previous-gen versions will receive The Cruise yet again, competing on a cruise liner's courts and reaping the rewards while embarking on shore excursions.

5. New Pro Stick Combos

You might see some more additions to the gameplay this year. One of those additions is believed to be the new Pro Stick combos. Flicking the stick enables double throws and switchbacks; new commands allow metered skill dunks.

6. Adrenaline Boosts

Adrenaline Boosts

Adrenaline Boost is a new feature. When using explosive sprints, the movements and sprints of the player will increase faster and faster. Each player can use three boosts. Therefore, it will be essential for you to know when to use them.

7. Shooting Attributes

NBA 2K23 adds new Shooting Attributes, including Shot Speed, Release Height, Defensive Immunity, and Timing Impact. Each signature jump has unique shooting stats, adding more strategy to shooting situations.

8. New Shot Meters

Shot Meters

The game will have 15 shot meters–including some from previous versions of NBA 2K. Some of them will have to be unlocked in Seasons. Also, the shot feedback will come a smidge later than it did in NBA 2K22.

This change was implemented to prevent the killing of the drama that exists in real life when a shot is released and players jockey for rebound position.

9. AI Improvements

There are going to be significant upgrades to AI gameplay on current-gen consoles. Areas where you will notice improvement include pick and roll execution, defense, ball handling, and coaching.

10. Revamped Team Takeover

In Team Takeover, the whole team will now have one standard meter. But there will not be any changes to primary or secondary Takeovers.

11. Offensive and Defensive Improvements

There are many new options for both offensive and defensive plays, whether unique quick scoop layups for slashers and contact layups for the more prominent players or the new defensive shading mechanic, which provides an indicator for guarding.

12. Ball Strips Improvement

NBA 2K23 will make you a better stealer with quick hands able to nab balls in play and new sideline awareness for all players.

13. Shot Blocking Refined

Shot blocking has been tweaked in NBA 2K23, allowing players to block more 'realistically' with no more small guards able to pull off ridiculous moves.

14. One-on-One Defense

This year, defenders on the perimeter and in the post will have the option to play their assignment straight up, shading left or shading right. There is a meter that depicts which defensive approach is being taken.

15. Shot Contest Percentages Reworked

The mechanic that determines how covered a shooter is has been reworked. It is far more accurate than it has been in the past.

16. New Layup Package

This year's game will introduce new layup packages for several players: Devin Booker, Joel Embiid, Allen Iverson, Magic Johnson, Nikola Jokic, Zach LaVine, Ja Morant, Sue Bird, Diana Taurasi, Giannis Antetokounmpo, LeBron James and more.

17. MyTeam

MyTeam returns in NBA 2K23 and features more customization tools for creating one's ideal squad. One can recruit across any era this time, adding some legendary players to the roster. Of course, MT points are still essential in this mode, and you can stock up on plenty of NBA 2K23 MT coins through u4gm.com and enjoy excellent service!

18. Player Builder Improvements

MyPlayer Builder

Confirmed changes to the MyPlayer Builder for NBA 2K23. A welcome change is the animations purchased now apply to your entire account instead of a save file. As such, players will have the option to assign animations to more than one MyPlayer character.

19. New Badge System

New-Gen is debuting a new, tiered badge system. In every attribute category, there will be 16 badges. Higher tier Badges cost more Badge Points but are much more impactful; conversely, Tier 1 Badges are the least strong but are also very cheap.
