Of course, you can also get expensive Cards by buying NBA 2k20 mt at u4gm.com (low price, fast, safe).
New Series Galaxy Opal Cards - Luka Doncic, Kristaps Porzingis, and Trae Young
On Friday, NBA 2k20 MyTeam launched a new series of the most valuable player cards in the new series, including Galaxy Opal Luka Doncic, Kristaps Porzingis, and Trae Young.
• Luka Doncic
The 20-year-old Slovenian phenom easily took home NBA Rookie of the Year honors last season, so the improvement was expected. Luka Doncic is filling up the stat sheet on a nightly basis, averaging 29.6 points, 9.7 rebounds, and 9 assists in 32.9 minutes per game this season.
At the time of NBA 2K20's release, Doncic was ranked as an 87 overall. Thanks to a historic sophomore season that has put the entire league on notice, he is now a 96, and rightfully so.
He's 6'7" and can play point guard and shooting guard. Doncic's shooting ability has been augmented quite a bit for the sake of the Galaxy Opal status. He has a 98 three-point rating. His 85 dunk rating will be a pleasant stretch for his fans. Almost no one should have an issue with his 97 ball handling and 98 pass accuracy.
On defense is where Doncic was shown the most love. His steal rating is 89, which is low for most GO point guards in MyTeam, but hight for the real-life player and the same can be said for his 89 perimeter defense.
He's especially strong on the glass for a point guard with an 84 and 92 rating in offensive and defensive rebounding, respectively. Doncic might not be the fastest guy in real life, but his 94 speed and speed with the ball ratings in MyTeam give him plenty of jets, especially at 6'7".
The badges are where Doncic can do the most damage. He has 64 of them and 41 are of the Hall-of-Fame variety. The notable HOF badges are as followed:
• Catch and Shoot
• Floor General
• Range Extender
• Ankle Breaker
• Clamps
• Green Machine
• Downhill
While the Doncic card won't be the most effective GO on defense, he should be devastating on offense.
• Kristaps Porzingis
What makes Kristaps Porzingis so tough in real life is his speed and shooting ability that comes with his 7'3" frame. In MyTeam, those skills see exponential growth and Porzingis has gone Super Saiyan.
His three-point rating is 97, driving dunk is an 80, ball handling a 79, blocks are a 97, and his steals and perimeter defense are a solid 79 considering the card plays power forward and center.
The 98 rebounding numbers are to be expected, but his 86 speed and 83 speed with the ball make him a potential meta-shifting card. Porzingis' badge game is in great shape. He has 57 of them in all with 40 HOF.
The pick-and-pop game should be effective with him and a point guard. Not only does he have the shooting attributes, but he also has HOF Brick Wall, Catches and Shoot, Pick and Popper, Range Extender, Quick Draw, and Green Machine. That is literally all any big needs to be a killer in that scenario. When you add in his height, it makes it all the more difficult to get a contest on his shot.
Defensively, he has all of the requisite badges as well. Gold Clamps is key for him to be able to somewhat defend on switches, but he also has HOF Worm, Trapper, Post Move Lockdown, Pogo Stick, Rebound Chaser, Intimidator, and Rim Protector.
The Porzingis card is now the best of the players who are above 7-feet tall.
• Trae Young
Trae Young is a point guard with a 99 three-point rating, 98 ball-handling, 92 steal, and 98 marks in speed and speed with the ball. The issue with the Young card is that his dunk rating is just a 65, and his 88 perimeter defense only exacerbates the passive strength issue that comes along with his 6'2" height. He's smallish for a MyTeam point guard and downright diminutive for his secondary position. He does have 50 badges with 44 on the HOF level.
Catch and Shoot, Ankle Breaker, Range Extender, Downhill and Green Machine are all necessities for GO point guard at this point. He does have Gold Clamps but that isn't especially overwhelming considering the 7'3″ Porzingis has the same level badge.
This card can do some damage in Triple Threat Online and MyTeam Unlimited.
3 Best Cheap Cards - Isaac Bonga, Marcus Smart, and Ruby Thon Maker
If you don't want to spend too much money on a player card in MyTeam, then the following three Cards may be suitable for you, and they cost less than 10,000 NBA2K20 MT or less.
• PG/SF – Amethyst Isaac Bonga – 5,000 MT
Isaac Bonga is 6'8" and he can play the point guard or small forward positions.
In addition to his length, he also has a solid dunk rating at an 85. His three-point shooting is at an 89, and his ball-handling is an 86, which means he can speed boost off the dribble.
On defense, his effectiveness is augmented by his length, but he also has an 89 steal rating, 90 perimeter defense, and a 92 speed and speed-with-the ball attribute.
He checks the requisite boxes from a badge standpoint too.
In total, Bonga has 45 badges and 18 of them are Hall of Fame. His HOF Green Machine, Downhill, and Clamps are his most valuable. If this card has a drawback, it's his shot motion. If you can master that, you can use this card about as effectively as a Pink Diamond.
• SG/PG – Diamond Marcus Smart – 7,500 MT
Marcus Smart has the requisite HOF Clamps badge, but he's also got the top-rated badge for Off-Ball Pest and Intimidator. The latter allows Smart to hold his own if he gets caught in a switch with a bigger offensive player.
Size is the only real drawback of this card. He's only 6'3", but the badges and a solid 70 strength rating help him out in most cases.
On offense, the Smart card is no slouch. With a 90 speed, 90 speed with the ball, 93 three-point shooting, to go with HOF Catch and Shoot, Green Machine and Gold Range Extender, this version of Smart can get it done on both ends.
• C/PF – Ruby Thon Maker – 4,000 MT
The most versatile budget big man is the Ruby Thon Maker.
At 7-foot, Maker has the size you need, at least from a length standpoint. There are plenty of 7-footers in MyTeam, but what sets Maker apart from the other budget cards are his shot motion and speed. The maker may have the smoothest and easiest shot motion to master among bigs in MyTeam, with the exception of maybe Anthony Davis.
Maker's 85 three-point shooting and 90 driving dunks combined with his HOF Catch and Shoot and Gold Range Extender make him a matchup nightmare for traditional bigs.
