Best Driving Dunkers Under 50k in NBA 2K20 MyTeam

Dunk, basketball's most spectacular play. Everyone loves dunks, and you feel contented when you see your players flying through the air and throwing the ball down. But the top dunk players in NBA 2k20 MyTeam are expensive, so we put together this list of the best dunk players in NBA 2k20 MyTeam. They are worth less than 50k, but their shooting percentage is very high.

'86 Dominique Wilkins (OVR 95)

• Card Type: Spotlight
• Position: SF/SG
• Club: '85-'86 Atlanta Hawks
• Driving dunk: 98
• Cost: 44k

The Atlanta Hawks Dominique Wilkins. Despite his 95 OVR rating, he can be picked up for under 50k NBA2k20 MT points. You don't get the nickname The Human Highlight Film by simply playing well. That's part of it but there's a certain level of flash that needs to come with it. The nine-time All-Star and two-time Slam Dunk Champion had no shortage of flash.

His dunking was on a whole other level and he won the iconic NBA slam dunk contest in 1985 and 1990. He also picked up the scoring title in the former, with an average of 30.3 PPG.

98 shot close, 97 shot mid, 92 shot 3pt, 98 driving layups, 98 standing dunk, 98 driving dunk and 97 draw foul means he is a scoring machine. Add in 86 defending and 95 athleticism and this card will be worth the hassle to get it. If you're looking for a dunking highlight who has some outside shooting ability then maybe aim your eyes on this '86 Wilkins card.

Zach LaVine (OVR 79)

• Card Type: Spotlight
• Position: SG
• Club: Minnesota Timberwolves
• Driving dunk rating: 97
• Cost: 2k

Now from one of the all-time greats to an up and coming baller. The spotlight series version of Zach LaVine.

The star man for the Bulls is former Minnesota Timberwolves' man Zach LaVine. The 24-year-old is a BEAST in the paint, with the two-time Slam Dunk Contest champion boasting a ridiculous an 85 driving layup and 95 consistency, which will help when attempting those shots. His 84 rated speed is above the position average in the NBA too, so he's a good man to have carrying the ball on those fast breaks, 98 stamina means he'll be able to play plenty of minutes on the court, which is key in this below-par squad.

Don't be fooled by his 79 OVR though, because the shooting guard is still one of the very best driving dunkers in the game, with a monster 97 rating.

'87 Julius Erving (OVR 94)

• Card Type: Prime VIP
• Position: SG
• Club: Philadelphia 76ers
• Driving dunk rating: 96
• Cost: 38k

The next player is the Philadelphia 76ers icon, Julius Erving.

'Dr. J' began his career in the ABA with the Virginia Squires before moving to the New York Nets in 1973 and then the 76ers in 1976, where he rained until he retired in 1987. Widely renowned as one of the very best dunkers in the history of the NBA, the 1981 NBA MVP comes in on NBA 2K20 with a 96 rated driving dunk on his 94 OVR card, and rightfully so.

His outrageous ratings include 98 shot close, 95 speed, 98 vertical, 97 driving layups, 95 hands, and 95 perimeter defense. Although he was well known for his slam dunking (80 standing and 96 driving dunks), Erving was also a handy defender (86 OVR) particularly on the edge of the D.

He is another of the list who come in at the upper end of the 50k budget at 38k mt NBA 2k20, however, he is all sorts of fun to use in-game.

'91 Darrell Griffith (OVR 91)

• Card Type: Prime VIP
• Position: SG/SF
• Club: Utah Jazz
• Driving dunk rating: 96
• MyTEAM cost: 28k

The next player on our list is the Utah Jazz great Darrell Griffith.

Darrell Griffith became a Utah Jazz legend, mostly because of his insane 48 inch vertical that made him earn the 'Dr. Dunkenstein's nickname. Standing at just 6'4", the shooting guard could take flight from everywhere on the floor. The shooting guard participated in the inaugural NBA slam dunk contest back in 1984 and whilst he finished fourth, he was very impressive.

He is a good all-round, but he is a better shooter. He boasts 86 Outside Scoring, with no rating lower than 85 (Mid, 3pt, Free Throw), 87 Inside Scoring, 81 Defending and 87 Athleticism.

You can pick him up on MyTeam for 28k and as a 91 OVR, he will fit perfectly into most teams.
