NBA 2K20 MT Making Guide: Triple Threat

In NBA 2K20 MyTeam, you'll want to earn as many prizes and assets as possible, gain new and strong players. The best course of action that can be recommended is for you to pick a certain game mode and stick to it! These modes, include Domination, Triple Threat Online, and Triple Threat Offline. This guide is to teach you how to make a lot of NBA 2k20 mt in the triple threat.

Triple Threat Changes

In NBA 2K20, Triple Threat against the CPU will now see you play a team with three random cards rather than competing against a specific team.

There is a new prize ladder as well. The prize for your first win is a pack containing a very high-end Free Agent card. A second gets you a Token. A third delivers another Token, and as you saw in the trailer, the prizes continue to escalate. If you can manage 1000 TT wins, you'll earn a Galaxy Opal Dominique Wilkins card.

Triple Threat even has a slot machine that can bring you specific rewards if you hit the jackpot.

There are two modes of the triple threat, triple threat online and triple threat offline.

Triple Threat Online

In this mode, you play in teams of 3 against other teams composed in a similar fashion. These teams are being controlled by actual people, therefore there's no difficulty adjustment.

The prizes for this mode are dependent on many games you've won. Unlike the previous game, badges are no longer rewarded.

The reward offered for winning 1000 matches: a Galaxy Opal Dominique Wilkins! It is very much possible that the rewards will be upgraded in some time, meanwhile, it wouldn't hurt to get in there and start winning matches!

Reward Packs are given to players who truly grind it out in this mode, however, the contents of this Pack are not known. However, Jackpot Prizes are still a thing, therefore it's very much worth the time and effort to get through this mode and earn as much as possible as expeditiously as possible.

Triple Threat Offline

Triple threat offline is easier. This mode is similar to the one above as it also features teams of 3, but you will not be facing off against other players, rather you'll be part of a singleplayer campaign.

Triple Threat Offline might be the best fan-favorite mode at the moment because of constant rewards for the grind.

Winning a total of 50 games Offline will earn you several good players and many tokens, all of this can be done in just a few hours, if you're willing to put in the time and effort, of course.

As you can see, there are a great many options for you to take advantage of. Pick one that best suits your playstyle or pick the one you feel will help precipitate the creation of your very own dream team!

Triple Threat Offline Rewards

The following explains the number of wins you need and which rewards you get in the Triple Threat Offline. Player card rewards and Tokens and most packs remain the same. But......

• There is a major increase in MT rewards.
• And there is the addition of 4 Diamond Consumables Packs along the way.

Breakdown of MT Increases:

﹡Now, if you get all 1,000 wins, you get 117,600 MT in rewards. Was 49,550.
﹡The increases start to get meaningful after 300 wins, the DI Jamal Crawford reward.
﹡When you get DI Jamal Crawford at 300 wins, you now will have gotten 17,600 MT versus 11,800 MT.
﹡At PD Serge Ibaka (500 wins), the difference is 32,600 vs. 23,300.
﹡But it's really the bigger 10K, 20K, and 25K MT rewards that make the big overall difference. At win 775, the difference is meaningful but still only ~20K MT. And then ﹡over the last 200 wins, the difference balloons to almost 70K MT.

And you get the 4 x DI Consumables, and I think one can maybe conservatively estimate the value of those at 40K MT. So the total reward for all of TTOff is now increased by over 100K MT's worth.

One reason why it would be recommended to get into Triple Threat is that the matches are far shorter than Domination. With only 3 players on each side, the games are bound to be short and sweet.

The Triple Threat offers a ton of rewards and player unlocks, however, is the grind worth it? Please tell us what you think. For more help with the game, check out here.
