The endorsement deals in NBA 2K22 are similar to real life. However, the difference in the game is that players are paid for endorsements in VCs; just like NBA 2K22 MT, it's in-game currency. Endorsement deals are one of the most significant sources of VCs in the game. Therefore, it is essential to get as many endorsement deals as possible.

How to get endorsements in MyCareer?

If you're looking to get endorsements, here's what you need to do:

To get endorsements, you will need first to make it into the NBA. From there, make sure to talk to your agent and complete the Endorsement Deals Quest. Once this is done, you can begin the process of acquiring endorsements. However, you'll need to focus on two critical components of your avatar: fans and personal brand.

1). Fans

Fans can be acquired simply by playing well in MyCareer, much like VC. A flashy assist or a corner three can help gain you points, so make sure to play up to your potential in every game and light up the scoresheet.

The reason why fans are so important is that each endorsement has a minimum fan threshold. It would help if you met the minimum threshold to get that particular one.

However, some plays get you more than fans than others, and a few of the highest "fan acquisition" plays in the game include:

    • Flashy Pass Assists
    • Lob Passes
    • Alley-oop Finishes
    • Alley-oop to Self Finish
    • Score Off Assist
    • Stepback Limitless Range Triple
    • Fade Jumpshots and Triples

2). Personal Brand

The second task, building your personal brand, will take some more diligent work. To build your personal brand, you will need to participate in Quests and answer questions from reporters in both post-game press conferences and The City.

Some of the levels will depend based upon the endorsement. There may be multiple components to each one. For example, an Adidas endorsement may require you to have a Level 4 Flashy brand status and Level 6 Fashion. There are multiple ways you can check the status for each one. You could either go into the Quests menu to see the objective requirements or go to your Personal Brand hub and select Endorsements.

We should note that you can redeem an endorsement when you see that. Go to the Endorsements page in the Personal Brand menu. Then, select it with either A (for Xbox) or X (for PlayStation). From there, you can begin to increase the level of your endorsements.

Much like getting endorsements, increasing the level will depend on varying objectives, but these are usually game-based. For example, one endorsement may require eight wins to move up to the next level, while another might ask for 12 games. And, endorsements don't pay out VC on a game-by-game basis. You get the total amount of VC for said endorsement once you complete the objective for that particular level.

How to redeem your endorsement deals?

Once you feel like you have completed the objectives required to unlock endorsements, it is best to go back to your personal brand tab to see which ones are eligible to be redeemed. After you select redeem, that particular endorsement will be applied to your player with VC incentives to earn more every time you play.

However, remember that you don't have to redeem every endorsement that comes your way. It's essential to be mindful of contractual obligations for every sponsorship – mainly shoe deals.

For example, New Balance might be the first brand that reaches out to you, but you will have to honor your contract if you decide to sign on with them right away; you will have to keep your contract. In that, you will not be able to switch brands and wear other shoes until your contract is up, which in some cases may take a few seasons.

What do you get from endorsement deals?

When you start unlocking your endorsement deals, you will receive messages from the specific brand to negotiate the deal. They will give you a certain amount of VCs for appearing at their events.

These events are random, and you will automatically attend one after playing a few games. You will receive a notification or a message on your phone when you have VCs to collect from the event.

How do you collect VCs from endorsement deal events?

To get VCs from the events you attend, you will have to go to the Purser's Office in the main lobby of Cancha Del Mar. You can access it on the 4th floor using the elevator.

All your endorsement checks will accumulate here, so always remember to pick this up as it is quite a big chunk of VCs for your progression. This is one of the most significant boosts you can get when you increase your rating to 99 in NBA 2K22.
