Best Jumpshots in NBA 2K20

NBA 2K20 has a bunch of unique, premade Jumpshots to choose from, some of which are free or available to purchase with NBA 2K20 MT Coins or VC. Here we will be presenting the top 3 best Jumpshots in NBA 2K20.

• Steph Curry Jumpshot

Steph Curry

A key player in the recent success of the Warriors, the point guard in this Warriors five is Steph Curry. He has one of the best Jumpshots in the whole NBA.

Three NBA Championships and two MVP awards in his ten-year career to date, it's safe to say that Curry has made a mockery of his 7th overall pick in the 2009 draft. Curry is one of only eight NBA players in history to register a 50-40-90 season, doing so back in 2016.

The Golden State Warriors guard received a 99 rating in his 3-point shooting in NBA 2K20, which makes him the leader of all 3-point shooters in the latest installment of the video game. He's been a killer from beyond the arc, has been setting records, and is less than 500 triples away from taking the first spot on the list for all-time 3-pointers made.

Steph Curry puts the jump in Jumpshot. He can go higher than any other player in the NBA and while he's not the best in terms of speed, you can use this Jumpshot effectively during defense plays. It is perfect for players that either has great defensive teammates or players that wait to shoot until their part of the court is empty.

It's an easy Jumpshot that is slow enough to make green-zoning each shot easy.

• Kevin Love Jumpshot

Kevin Love

Kevin Love's Jumpshot is a generic sort of Jumpshot that works for most players of NBA 2K20.

Coming in as the highest-rated player on the sub-par roster of the Cleveland Cavaliers, this five-time all-star and NBA Champion was completely robbed of a fair rating. Although only playing in 22 games last season due to injuries,  he put up similar numbers to the two seasons prior, where he received a rating of 86 and 87, respectively. In the 22 games played last season, Love averaged a double-double, with 17.0 points, 10.9 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game. The only thing questionable about his play was his shooting, coming in at a career-low 38.5 percent.

It has been tough times for the Cav's of late and whilst preseason odds suggested they would be lingering around the bottom of the Eastern standings, they currently sit middle of the pack with a .400 PCT after the opening five.

That is down largely to the work and in particular the defensive work, of Kevin Love. Love leads the NBA in defensive rebounds with a whopping 16.2 defensive rebounds per game average so far this campaign. 17.2 points and 4.8 assists show that the 31-year-old isn't too shoddy on the opposite end of the court either.

The action is really easy, making it difficult for players not to land in the green zone with each shot. While it's not the best Jumpshot in the game for everyone, it is a great middle-ground for most situations. This makes it a shoo-in for its all-around ease of use and is great in many situations, whether players are actively being defended against or not.

• Isaiah Canaan Jumpshot

Isaiah Canaan

Isaiah Canaan Jumpshot is a player who is quick to respond and can keep up with the pace of the game when making a jump shot. If you can grasp the timing of the shot, you will win the game.

The 21-year-old is a ways away from being a major contributor at the NBA level. Canaan is a fringe player that only saw extended minutes in the league while playing for the 76ers during 'The process' era. The primary reason Phoenix has decided to start Canaan is for defensive purposes — as the Suns lead playmaker Devin Booker is unfit to defend opposing point guards.

The Isaiah Canaan gives players the speed they need to lob shots fast, but they will need quite the reflexes to hit the green. If a player is comfortable with the game and has quick thumbs, this Jumpshot is really hard to beat. Getting down the timing will not be easy, but it will be worth it once players start landing three-pointers after three-pointer.

With Canaan's shot, you'll have the ball up in the air almost as soon as you press the shoot button. This quick shot will also work well with the release meter, as the timing is rather simple to get used to. Of course, that doesn't guarantee a make, but it certainly raises your chances.
