Which Players Will See Ratings Rise in NBA 2K22?

Image
NBA 2K22 released the first player ratings for the 2021-2022 NBA season. But as players outplay their initial ratings or are underwhelming on the court, an 85 can turn into an 87, or it could drop to an 83. So which players could see a jump in ratings over the course as the season progresses? LaMelo Ball To start 2K22, LaMelo Ball will be an 84 overall rating. LaMelo Ball found his way toward the top of the player ratings after his Rookie of the Year campaign. The Hornets' rookie is averaging 11.8 pts, 6.8 rebs, and 6.1 assists in 14 games, all as a reserve. The 6-foot-6 point guard seemingly has an all-NBA caliber future ahead of him, and if he builds on his rookie season, he can easily shoot up the rating list. Zach Lavine Zach Lavine , easily the biggest name on the Chicago Bulls roster right now, was given an 87 rating this year in NBA 2K22. Prediction of the Ratings of Memphis Grizzlies Players in NBA 2K22

Image
Player ratings in the 2K series have always been a hot topic, so NBA 2K22 is no exception. Today, I'm going to be predicting each Memphis Grizzlies player's NBA 2K22 rating. Yves Pons • 2K21 Rating: N/A • Predicted 2K22 Rating: 68 Yves Pons is technically on an Exhibit-10 contract, which means he's technically not on the roster. That said, this can be converted into a two-way contract. Unfortunately, there may not be space, and if there was, NBA 2K22 is almost guaranteed to give an undrafted free agent signing a terrible rating. Sam Merrill • 2K21 Rating: 70 • Predicted 2K22 Rating: 70 Sam Merrill is a serviceable shooter who played for an NBA Championship-winning team. His 44.7% 3-point shooting, even if it was at a low volume, should help Memphis in 2021-22. That said, his rating won't reflect this. Santi Aldama • 2K21 Rating: N/A • Predicted 2K22 Rating: 70 Santi Aldama is a floor-stretching big who could be great for the Grizzlies down the road. However, any play...
